Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan expressed profound sorrow over the loss, stating that Aalin's passing has deeply affected everyone in the community. He confirmed that the state would honor her at her funeral scheduled for Sunday, ensuring that her sacrifice is recognized. An official order has been issued to arrange for wreaths to be placed on her remains on behalf of the Chief Minister and the state government, underscoring the significance of her contribution.

In his tribute, Governor Arlekar stated that the parents' choice to donate their daughter’s organs reflects the true spirit of humanity. He conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and commended the health professionals and coordinators who facilitated the organ donation process through the Kerala State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation (K-SOTTO). The organs donated included Aalin's heart valve, liver, and kidneys, which were allocated to various hospitals in Thiruvananthapuram, while her eyes are set to be donated to an eye bank.
