So BJP in Maharashtra has decided to celebrate Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis's birthday with something they are calling Seva Yajna . And honestly,the scale of what they are planning across state is not small thing to ignore.
Main event is set for July 22 and party has built quite long list of activities around it . Starting from July 19 itself,BJP has launched statewide blood donation campaign with target of collecting blood from around one lakh donors by July 23 . That is genuinely ambitious number.
MP Dhananjay Mahadik came out publicly with wishes for Fadnavis and made clear that July 22 will be observed as Service Day across Maharashtra . He specifically called out programs running all way from July 22 to August 5 which means this is not just one day celebration.
And this is where things go beyond just birthday functions.
First major program on agenda is revenue campaign focused directly on farmers' issues . This apparently will cover development of rural roads,land registration work,agricultural process maintenance and also development of paanand roads to help farmers access their fields better . So there is actual ground-level work mixed into all this celebration .

Honestly,birthday celebrations getting converted into large social welfare drives is something political parties do quite regularly . But the combination here — blood donation,farmers' revenue issues,rural roads — all packed into two-week window around one leader's birthday is worth noticing.
Whether this actually translates into real,lasting change for farmers and communities or remains primarily image-building exercise for party heading into future elections… that question is probably what most people watching Maharashtra politics are quietly asking right now.
